I remember when my husband and I had to move out of our first apartment because of a massive mold problem and we were technically homeless for a couple weeks. Meanwhile all of our belongings were shoved into a tiny storage unit. David and I laughed thinking how funny it looked to have our whole world in boxes. And now, I have that familiar feeling.
Today we boxed up our life and shoved into a Budget moving truck. I must say that today started off chaotic and I Just wanted to throw my hands in the air and scream but instead I took the time to pray asking God to shine his much needed light. We went to get our truck and ended up running into to a handful of complications. From insurance questions to getting our bank to approve the purchase. Don’t you just love those daily spending limits and fraud prevention calls?
Anyways, by the time we got back to the house many people were waiting for us to say there goodbyes. It was so amazing to have all of the there help, love, and support. Today I got angry and frustrated that everything seemed to be going wrong but it was wonderful because by the end of the day all of our prayers were answered! Even, the car we had been trying to sell, sold, about an hour ago!
I felt so blessed today as we got a stop-my-heart-and-want-to-cry kind of gift…our church friends and family band together to give there hard earned money to support us. It was so needed and it felt stupendous!.
Here are some photos of all the faces that came to wish us off. We love you and couldn’t be more humbled and blessed that you all came to see us!
