I reach out and cradle his face in my hands, my thumbs resting below his eyes, catching his tears. “Me too, Jax, me too.” He rests his forehead on my shoulder and wraps his arms around me tightly. My arms squeeze around his neck and I feel him start to shake. We stay like that for awhile, crying together, grieving together, trying to find solace.
“I just witnessed my best friend get murdered and survived two gunshots! If I feel like getting drunk I am going too.” I snap. They were right though, I never drank. It wasn’t my thing but hours ago we laid Juliet to rest and I realized that her murderer could have been watching us, or me rather, for awhile. Call me crazy but that was a hard pill to swallow.
I made it to the bathroom but not in time to lock myself inside. So I leaped in the bathtub and tried hiding lamely behind the curtain. He jumped in after me and slammed me to the shower wall tickling my ribs. His face was all red and gooey. I looked up and noticed that the shower head was the detachable kind with a hose. Thinking quickly I reached to grab it with one hand and blasting the cold water with the other. He was soaking wet and the bathtub floor was now red. Archer made a weird grunt noise and grabbed for the hose which only made us wetter. I ducked under his arms, out of the tub, and ran toward the living room laughing. He caught up with me and tackled me on the couch.

They are a visual representation of memories. I guess that's the photographer in me coming out. Well I baked a … Continue reading Happy Turkey Day! Gobble Gobble

But, it has honestly been a struggle. We are two months away from being homeless and the stress of it all is driving me … Continue reading Mama Kadron’s Current Proverb
As promised here are all of the photos from this weekends Tennessee Adventure!
Well after a six hour drive we made it to our very "classy" hotel in Tazewell, Tennessee. The Dixie Plaza, which I found out tonight used to be a pay by the hour hotel if you catch my very obvious drift. But hey it burned down and was rebuilt in 2008 so now it's back … Continue reading Made It To Sharps Chapel
